K.D. is a Keynote Speaker, Author, and Human Trafficking Field Expert.  They have been providing recommendations and input to inform research, policies, and programs to combat trafficking and provide services to survivors since 2014. They have trained law enforcement, health care professionals, social workers and government organizations and are a training and technical assistance consultant for the Office for Victims of Crime, a fellow of the Human Trafficking Leadership Academy, and a member of the National Survivor Network.

K.D. has dedicated their work in helping service providers through the creation of trainings, online courses, and publications. K.D. authored their story in the anthology, Made in the U.S.A. and their new publication, Fragments: A Post-Traumatic Paradigm will be released in June of 2019, available for purchase at www.kdroche.com/book

Also a comedian and spoken-word artist, K.D.  likes to inspire, motivate, and educate their audience while providing valuable content . Their delivery is captivating, authentic and humorous, even while tackling heavy topics. As an expert and survivor of human trafficking, they now work in the field building online training curriculum, connecting service providers, and speaking nationally.
