Standing Against Child Abuse
Join McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center for their Stand Against Child Abuse Conference. This year's conference will be held at the Holiday Inn, Liverpool NY on Tuesday, September 18th. I will be doing a training on the intersections of survival sex and human trafficking in America's youth, and Keynote speaker Derek Clark will talk about the abuse he endured and his resilience. This conference will offer a wide variety of workshops that will provide exciting and informative break-out sessions. The several workshops will provide in-depth information on the different components that make up a Child Advocacy Center, ranging from Law Enforcement, Medical, Therapy and much more! Along with the presentations, both breakfast and lunch will be provided.
CEU Credits pending from Upstate University Hospital available for an extra fee of $25. Once you are registered, follow the instructions in the confirmation e-mail in order to receive credits.
